Le CN D propose un accueil particulier aux élèves des enseignements danse des lycées franciliens et nationaux ainsi qu’aux élèves des conservatoires.

Assemblé

Assemblé est un dispositif de médiation créé en 2020, en écho à 1 km de danse, fête de la danse à Pantin. De 2020 à 2025, Assemblé a convié chaque année des habitants d’une ville à se rencontrer, partager des danses et créer une danse collective.

IMAGINE est un dispositif de médiation adressé à des femmes de la Seine Saint-Denis, qui se saisit de la question du soin et des représentations du corps de la femme dans la société.

Jumelage entre la ville de Cergy et le CN D

Investi dans un jumelage culturel avec le quartier prioritaire de la Ville de Cergy Horloge-Axe majeur (dispositif de la Préfecture de Région Île-de-France), le CN D a déployé sur 3 années des actions à destination des jeunes et des habitants : les dispositifs Caravane kids et 360°, histoires de danse en un jour au sein de 5 écoles élémentaires, 1 collège et 1 lycée, le dispositif Assemblé pour des habitantes et habitants, des journées de découverte métiers pour les 16-25 ans, des actions avec les universités et écoles supérieures et des parcours de spectateur. Des actions ressources et formations ont également été programmées avec Visages du monde et le Centre de formation de danse de Cergy et sa formation « Passeurs culturels en danse hip-hop ». Après trois années (2022-2024), le dispositif du jumelage culturel prend fin. Il se poursuivra par des actions avec des partenaires cergyssois avec qui le CN D a développé des collaborations sur la durée.

Cultural and artistic education Arts-dance majors in Juliette Récamier high school

Over sixty high school students will follow a series of workshops and meetups around dance culture all year long in the Lyon CN D. This program is devised in connection with a selection of shows in the Maison de la danse de Lyon.

Masters in residence

Since 2016, the CN D has been building up partnerships with various fields of higher education so as to encourage encounters between dance and other disciplines.
These projects are built up as a trio, with a teacher, a contributing artist and the team of the CN D. They thus adopt varied forms but have in common the effect of creating a sensitive reflexion, which is often new for students, about the relationship between their field of training, the body and gestures. These projects are based around various formats suited to each pathway: a practical phase with an artist, an outreach phase (research in the media centre, analysis of works) and cultural pathways (visits to exhibitions, shows, encounters with artists). These immersions at the CN D, and more specifically into the world of choreography, shift and nourish the students’ research by offering them new tools for analysis, observation and reflexion about their environment.
As well as these projects, two masters’ degrees (Dance and Literary Creation) at the Université Paris 8 Vincennes - Saint-Denis have benefited from a weekly residency at the CN D since the new academic year in 2017. This regular presence means being able to cross their time in lessons with all the activities we devote to dance: associate artists, resources, shows, archive collections, exhibitions, etc.

About Dance

For its first edition, À propos de danse (About Dance) will take place in Oyonnax between October 2025 and March 2026. The CN D and its partners are organizing a series of events at the Centre Culturel Aragon, including workshops, film screenings, an exhibition and a parade, concluding with a ball. With À propos de danse, the CN D is developing a new project around choreographic culture aimed at all audiences. Throughout the season, in collaboration with the media library of a selected region, the CN D invites audiences to explore the presence of dance as a common thread and offers various activities leading up to a festive and unifying event.
