Overview of the structure(s)
Kontainer is a cultural hub, a shared creative space housing a co-working area, a creative space, shared workshops and the RECORDING UNITED recording studio, founded by Androphyne, a multidisciplinary company set up by Pierre-Johann Suc and Magali Pobel.
Description of the open call
- Standard residency: the venue and accommodation (for up to 6 people) are provided free of charge. There is the option to organise an event at the end of the residency for local audiences, depending on the host artist’s preferences and needs.
- Residency with co-production: This residency combines the provision of space and accommodation with a residency showcase and a grant of at least €2,000. Support and technical facilities may also be provided.
Eligibility requirements
We are ready to welcome you for a residency. Visual artists, actors, choreographers, multidisciplinary companies from the performing arts network, etc. – please do not hesitate to apply!
Offered support
The 120m² ground-floor living space features wooden flooring and basic spotlights. The space is ideal for creative projects, workshops and experiments.
Lighting equipment:
- Basic mixing desk / 4 DMX boxes
- 2 lifting stands / 12 PAR 56 spotlights
- strobe light / video projector
Sound equipment:
- 1 sound console
- 2 JBL EON 612 speakers with 2 stands
- 2 PRX 715 speakers
- 2 8-channel XLR/XLR multi-pairs
