Resources pole for mediation and artistic and cultural dance education
The resources pole devises tools and spaces of reflexion for the development of artistic and cultural education in all its dimensions. These propositions are open to everyone involved in artistic and cultural education projects, and dance mediation across the entire territory. The resources pole thus invites professionals to train, exchange and reflect about mediation practices. The resources pole also commits itself to the production and co-production of tools and resources concerning dance, so as to favour access to all forms of dance. Finally, to probe questions about mediation, the CN D is offering its Plateforme / Réseau (Platform / Network).
CN D's EAC Projects and Programs
The CN D designs short and long term programs for children, adolescents, and adults. Each program combines training, implementation, and resources made available to teams so that these programs can be replicated and carried out elsewhere by partner organizations. The CND also collaborates on customized projects with local nonprofit organizations and social service agencies.
EAC Resource Catalog
The CN D is launching a collaborative space to enable every professional to find tools and inspiration to enrich their practice, learn about the frameworks for intervention, and develop EAC and dance outreach projects.
Mediation Training
The CN D offers training programs open to all professionals involved in arts and cultural education and outreach projects. The programs combine theoretical concepts, practical analysis, and hands-on experimentation to help participants learn how to design learning pathways, create engaging audience experiences, discover and develop outreach tools, and support audiences of all kinds.
Customized Training
With a focus on sharing its resources on choreographic culture and dance outreach, the CN D collaborates with partners from the national education and cultural sectors to develop thematic workshops and training programs for students at higher education dance schools, INSPE trainees, elementary and secondary school teachers, national education administrators, and artists and professionals involved in arts education and outreach.
Professional Conferences
The Resource Center regularly organizes study days that bring together professionals in the field of cultural mediation to discuss common topics, particularly the concepts of transmission, sharing, and raising awareness. Observing teaching methods in action within arts and cultural education programs, comparing and contrasting transmission methods with those in other fields of knowledge, examining individual approaches, and questioning the concept of an “audience” for dance : these are the themes explored during these study days.
Resource Centers for Arts and Cultural Education (Préac)
The PRÉACs, resource centers for arts and cultural education, are partnership-based organizations intended for professionals involved in arts and cultural education, as well as stakeholders in the fields of childhood and youth, education, culture, justice, social services, and more. The CN D coordinates the PRÉACs for dance, thereby fostering a national dialogue on arts and cultural education in dance.
