Overview of the structure(s)

The CINARS Biennale is the leading event for performing arts professionals in North America. Every two years, Montreal becomes a vibrant hub where arts companies, agents, observers and programmers from here and abroad come together. This unique event offers a special space to discover bold and inspiring works, exchange ideas and forge lasting collaborations. For a few days, creativity flows, horizons broaden and connections are forged across borders.

In 2026, the CINARS Biennale reaffirms a vision firmly focused on contemporary storytelling, the hybridisation of forms and the diversity of artistic voices, and aims to function as a living laboratory where artistic audacity meets a variety of formats.

More than just a market, the Biennale positions itself as an inclusive networking space, fostering unexpected encounters and meaningful professional exchanges to redefine the performing arts of tomorrow.
