This roundtable discussion, organized as part of Ballet Days, aims to explore the questions and transformations currently shaping the teaching of classical dance. Although it is socially perceived as tied to codified and hierarchical pedagogical models, this discipline is nevertheless undergoing a marked shift toward approaches that are more inclusive, individualized, and connected to social issues. Through the combined perspectives of educators, artists, and researchers, this discussion will offer a reflective examination of learning practices and their historical evolution, as well as the consideration of students’ physical and psychological well-being in various educational contexts.
