Starting this world over again
performances conferences installations explorations

Starting this world over again, at a time when our relationship with living things has been profoundly destabilized, at a time of climate crisis and when biodiversity is being lost, is the challenge that philosopher Baptiste Morizot has set himself in his book L’inexploré (Wildproject editions, 2023). Starting this world over again brings together performances, workshops for children and adults, conferences, laboratories and walks, all strategies devised by artists, thinkers and researchers to represent this crisis and make it perceptible, and to open up an imagination leading to a different relationship with non-humans. Starting this world over again is an event devised by choreographer Jérôme Bel, associate artist at the CN D in 2023-2024, his collaborator Rebecca Lasselin, and the CN D team, in dialogue with the MC93 as part of the Quartier général event "Is sustainable theatre possible?". For three weeks, Starting this world over again brings together a community of individuals working on this question, who will share with the public the stages of their research and their results.
