The doughnut of live performance companies

The Doughnut Theory, imagined by Kate Raworth, aims to rethink the economy in order to meet both essential human needs and the preservation of the environment. Between 2017 and 2020, the Vidy-Lausanne theater draws inspiration from this reflection to build a self-analysis tool and action protocols so that live performance venues tend towards sustainability. The Lieux-Dits company in partnership with MC93 is currently working to adapt this protocol to artistic teams. During this event, an overview of this adaptation, the challenges, issues and questions that it raises, will be presented.
