How are psyches organized? Through encounters. Among them are the discovery of social relationships in a society. What type of social relations do we encounter? Class, race – and gender. In truth, gender assignment is not attributed on a blank psyche: two other psychic forces have always been constituted beforehand. This performance seeks to shed light on the power relations that determine the ways in which each individual invests gender: agreement, reluctance or outright refusal – a materialist question, but also a tale of conceptual adventures.
