Organising artistic events: risks and responsibilities
This factsheet summarises two workshops on safety in the performing arts. The first deals with audience reception and the protection of property (artworks, sets, costumes), setting out the organisers’ responsibilities and the necessary insurance cover. The second explores the legal and social responsibilities of the various stakeholders (artists, technicians, volunteers, producers) in the event of an incident, as well as the contractual limits of liability.
