Their next show will premiere in September 2027 at the Théâtre Saint Gervais in Geneva. Jonathan Drillet and Marlène Saldana have also just directed a short documentary film, Starkness, as part of a residency at the Villa Albertine.
“We do theater and dance, so we need performers who can do both. Almost all of our pieces, which are very text-based, have been performed by dancers. So for Camping, we are offering a workshop on text interpretation and improvisation for dancers. We are currently working on two topics: Cruising, the film by William Friedkin, as well as the idea of cruising in general, not in the sense of a cruise but in the sense of gay cruising (in clubs and outdoors), and on the concept of homonationalism (and in particular the fact that the far right is now managing to attract a significant proportion of LGBTI+ voters).” Marlène Saldana & Jonathan Drillet
