Workshop Krump – Contemporary

Nach works on dances that express various interiorities, while constructing a series of gestures allowing them to be narrated. During this workshop, there will be a sharing of the following dances: krump, contact dance, butō, improvisation techniques and making a danced statement.

Nach discovered krump at the age of 22 and worked on this urban dance form, building up her own version as one encounter followed another, with Heddy Maalem, Bintou Dembélé or Marcel Bozonnet, as well as with the traditional arts of kathakali or flamenco. She created her first solo, Cellule, in 2017. She is a partner-artist at the CCN La Rochelle and is supported by the CDCN Atelier of Paris.
