Exploring the connections between the techniques and languages of contemporary and urban dance. Born in Portugal, Marco da Silva Ferreira won the Eurobattle 2009 in the New Style category. He has worked with André Mesquita, Hofesh Schechter, Sylvia Rijmer, Tiago Guedes, or Hugo Pontes, before initiating his own choreographic writing in 2012. Hu(r)mano won him a nomination for the best young Portuguese creator in 2015. In 2017, he created brother.
