Krump

Telling a story, construct a narration: starting out from krump and its vocabulary (stomp, chest-pop, arm swing) bringing to life out inner worlds and our “characters”, by dancing a situation, a feeling, an attitude... Over and above practice, this workshop will also be a chance to share an overview of the dance krump, to make its history known, from the underground to the stage and its socio-cultural context.

Nach encountered krump by chance at the age of twenty-two. The street was her first school: she found a community who transmitted its knowledge to her and the bases of this urban dance. She works with Heddy Maalem, Bintou Dembélé, Marcel Bozonnet but also with kathakali, butō and flamenco.
