To unlock the valves of feeling – Francis Bacon

Originally from Northern Ireland, Oona Doherty has worked with such companies as United Fall – Emma Martin (Spain), TRASH (Pays-Bas) and Abattoir Ferme (Belgiium). Since 2016, she has been an artist at the Metropolitan Art Centre in Belfast. Her work, greatly inspired by the world of cinema, plays on the barrier between the audience and the stage. Her pieces unveil a physical theatre and take a sharp look at society.
