A masterclass based around extracts from Alessandro Sciarroni’s repertoire and his new creation presented during the Dance Biennale. After training in the visual arts and the theatre, Alessandro Sciarroni is an Italian artist working in the field of performance art. His works welcome professionals from different disciplines and are presented at once in dance festivals and contemporary theatres, but also in museums, art galleries and other unconventional sites. His research is focused on the practice of contemporary performative art, the crossings between the various languages of performance, the theatre and the visual arts. In France, he has presented AURORA, JOSEPH_kids, UNTITLED, FOLK-S.
