Profesionnal workshop

Jan Martens proposes to revisit one of the creative processes of his latest piece any attempt will end in crushed bodies and shattered bones: based on the composition of Gorecki’s Concerto for Harpsichord and Strings op. 40, each participant is invited to express the music through their own body. The result will be a series of solos that reflect a diversity of bodies and languages, permitted and able to coexist and communicate with each other. The workshop focuses on endurance, body efficiency, precision, coordination and rhythm.
