Initiated in Montbéliard, then reprised in Lyon, and now in Nîmes, these itinerant, international events propose to reflect on current research dynamics in the field of flamenco, in order to elaborate new perspectives on this art, through the prism of critical theories developed from other fields of the humanities and social sciences: intercultural, postcolonial perspectives, gender theories...

They invite us to confront the views and practices of artists, researchers and artist-researchers, in order to understand what is at stake in the contemporary flamenco experience and scene, whether in theaters, cultural and social venues, on the street, in Seville’s tourist tablaos, or on the Internet.
