As part of UNDER/GROUND, the CCN in Rennes and Brittany, in partnership with the CN D, is organising a one-day workshop dedicated to health in hip-hop dance.

Led by Linda Hayford, a choreographer, member of the FAIR-E collective and associate artist at the CN D, this event aims to create a space for dialogue between different bodies of knowledge, self-taught practices and approaches to care.

How can we better recognise the specific characteristics of hip-hop dance within dancers’ health journeys? How can we bring together practical experience, informal knowledge-sharing and therapeutic frameworks?

This workshop invites artists, researchers and healthcare professionals to exchange perspectives, with a view to ensuring greater consideration is given to the physical, social and cultural realities of dancers.
