A masterclass based around extracts from Joseph Nadj’s repertoire and his new creation (Workshop 3+1) presented during the Dance Biennale. While pursuing his choreographic research, with this piece, he aims at setting visual work at the heart of his theatrical and bodily work.
Josef Nadj trained at the University of Fine Arts in Budapest, took mime lessons, discovered tai-chi, butō and contemporary dance, and has been a performer for Sidonie Rochon, Mark Tompkins, Catherine Diverrès or else François Verret. Since Canard Pékinois (1987), he has been exploring the seam of a demanding, passionate choreography. He directed the CCN of Orléans from 1995 to 2016.
