Dance as the experience of self
IMAGINE enables women from different backgrounds in the Seine-Saint-Denis, of differing levels of ability and different ages, to explore the question of the body, its representation and the concept of self-care. IMAGINE explores several areas – choreographic, somatics, poetic and theoretical – and combines emotion with reflection. IMAGINE brings together the CN D with the Théâtre Louis Aragon de Tremblay-en-France, l’Espace 1789 in Saint-Ouen, and La Commune – centre dramatique national d’Aubervilliers. From February to April, each venue will host a group accompanied by an artist and offer different artistic and somatic practices. The days spent together are devoted to choreographic practice, with Nadia Beugré in Aubervilliers, Raphaëlle Delaunay in Tremblay-en-France, Johanna Faye in Saint-Ouen and Paula Pi in Pantin, and will continue with different interventions conceived both as moments of relaxation and moments of exchange (tours, readings, sound installations, analyses of photos, talks).
