After training in Madrid in classical and contemporary dance, Gabriela Gómez Abaitua joined the Spanish National Dance Company, the Grand Théâtre in Geneva and the Ballet Preljocaj, before teaching and developing her career as a choreographer. She created Nuit Flamenco with Rubén Molina (2016), and two pieces for the FUESCYL, in Burgos (2017). In 2018, she created Glück pour 6 for the CNSMD in Paris. Currently, she is choreographing and directing the opera-ballet Orphée et Eurydice for the Metz opera and directing the festival Dansez Maintenant at the Château de Véretz.
