Resources pole for mediation and artistic and cultural dance education
The CN D contributes to the development of, and access to, resources for arts and cultural education and dance outreach.
Through outreach projects run by the CN D, classroom resources, reflective texts on the benefits of dance, and initiatives facilitating access to choreographic culture, you will find a wide range of entry points and approaches on this website.
Networking amongst professionals, the sharing of experiences and training are also central to our efforts to strengthen the practice and discovery of dance amongst children, teenagers and adults, regardless of context or location.
Customised training
CN D's EAC Projects and Programs
The CN D designs short and long term programs for children, adolescents, and adults. Each program combines training, implementation, and resources made available to teams so that these programs can be replicated and carried out elsewhere by partner organizations. The CND also collaborates on customized projects with local nonprofit organizations and social service agencies.
EAC Resource Catalog
The CN D is launching a collaborative space to enable every professional to find tools and inspiration to enrich their practice, learn about the frameworks for intervention, and develop EAC and dance outreach projects.
Mediation Training
The CN D offers training programs open to all professionals involved in arts and cultural education and outreach projects. The programs combine theoretical concepts, practical analysis, and hands-on experimentation to help participants learn how to design learning pathways, create engaging audience experiences, discover and develop outreach tools, and support audiences of all kinds.
Customized Training
With a focus on sharing its resources on choreographic culture and dance outreach, the CN D works with partners from the national education and cultural sectors to develop themed workshops and training courses.
Professional Conferences
The CN D regularly organises events that bring together professionals in the fields of mediation and arts and cultural education to discuss shared topics. The aim of these sessions is to reflect on practices, put them into perspective, share ideas and examine each participant’s approach.
Resource Centers for Arts and Cultural Education (Préac)
The PRÉACs, resource centers for arts and cultural education, are partnership-based organizations intended for professionals involved in arts and cultural education, as well as stakeholders in the fields of childhood and youth, education, culture, justice, social services, and more. The CN D coordinates the PRÉACs for dance, thereby fostering a national dialogue on arts and cultural education in dance.
