Compte tenu des recommandations sanitaires gouvernementales liées à la propagation du virus Covid-19, le CN D Centre national de la danse a fermé ses portes au public depuis le 14 mars. Dans ce contexte particulier, le CN D poursuit ses missions de ressources, d’information et de conseil mais aussi de formation auprès des danseurs professionnels et propose des cours quotidiens en ligne. Chaque jour, à 11:00, un cours de danse est mis en ligne ici.D’une durée de 30 minutes, il est adapté pour être suivi chez soi à n’importe quel moment de la journée, il reste en effet disponible jusqu’au lendem…

The CN D invites students from elementary to high schools to discover and practice a multitude of dances during an entire day.

During an entire day, the CN D invites senior high school students who are interested in cultural professions. From working as a dancer, as an administrator or else as a technician, the students discover the plurality and the richness of the professions at the service of dance.

IMAGINE is an outreach scheme aimed at women in the Seine Saint-Denis département, which takes on the question of care and representations of the female body in society.

As part of La Fabrique Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, conceived with the Festival d’Automne in Paris, Re:Rosas! was reactivated at the CN D on 6th October 2018. The origin of this performance which is open to all is the famous piece Rosas danst Rosas, created by the Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker in 1983.

A score-schema invented by the legendary American composer John Cage in 1967, Musicircus is a performance in which performers who are or are not musicians, amateurs, students or professionals, soloists or groups, are invited to play some music of their choice in a single space in a unique sequence orchestrated by the use of chance. Musicircus was presented at CN D in September 2019 as part of the Fabrique John Cage & Merce Cunningham, with the Festival d'Automne in Paris.

Member of the "Vivre Ensemble" mission, signatory of the social community reception charter established in 2009, the CN D is committed to promoting the work of social workers by offering tailor-made courses.

As a resource pole for outreach and artistic and cultural education in dance, the CN D offers zones of reflexion between professionals so as to favour friction between ideas, convictions, desires and questions. Thinking about practices, placing them in perspective, sharing ideas and questioning each person’s postures are the objectives given to these periods for exchanges between all the professionals involved in outreach and artistic and cultural educational actions.
