“Slowness, stillness, and precision are at the forefront of my performative work. In this workshop, I will teach material from a work that takes place largely on the floor. The material functions as a distilled entry point into my broader practice, offering direct access to its underlying methodologies and principles. camper’s will be introduced to the movement material and guided through the physical and conceptual tools that inform it. While the vocabulary may appear minimal, the challenge lies in its embodiment, in navigating duration, weight, and awareness within a restricted frame of action. The workshop will alternate between learning the set material, practicing its internal logic, and exploring how each participant inhabits it.” Maria Hassabi
