CN D Pantin
The duo was born of the encounter between Sophia Dinkel and Marie Goudot as performers. Between these two dancers of different ages, backgrounds and career paths, an artistic and sensitive exchange took place, touching on the status of author, performer, the female body and the relationship between dance and memory. Starting with the blank page of the stage, they sought to occupy this space with bodies, sounds and voices: to fill it and hollow it out in a ceaseless movement of ebb and flow, in order to write together the score of an absence populated by traces, gestures and memories. How do you tame the void, set it in resonance, articulate its frequencies? Using two electric guitars, in turn imaginary support and soundscape, they put their bodies to work - tuning to the strings and vibrations they manipulate, and giving shape to the narratives that animate them. Questioning their own practices, they invent a moving concert, where the slightest gesture gives rise to concentrates of experience that harmonize visual, physical and mental space.
Marie Goudot
Dancer and choreographer Marie Goudot has worked as a performer with many choreographers, including Maurice Béjart, Russell Maliphant, François Laroche-Valière, Ula Sickle and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker – whom she has also accompanied as a collaborator on a dozen creations. In 2005, together with Julien Monty and Michael Pomero, she founded the choreographic laboratory LOGE22, based on their collective work, and the artistic platform SPIDER. Goudot is also a teacher, and she participates in P.A.R.T.S.’s pedagogical programs, and teaches at the CNDSMD and Impulstanz.
Sophia Dinkel
Sophia Dinkel studied dance and music at the Conservatoire de musique, danse et théâtre de Genève, in Codarts (Netherlands), from which she graduated in 2018. In 2015, she danced in Tino Sehgal's Yet Untitled at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. From 2017 to 2019, she joins the ICK platform, under the direction of Emio Greco and Peter Scholten, where she collaborates with several choreographers, including Emanuel Gat and Nacera Belaza. Between 2020 and 2023, Sophia Dinkel joins Rosas, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's company, with whom she participates in repertory pieces as well as creations.
