Special Edition #7

13.02 > 07.07.23

CN D Pantin

Continuing education program for choreographers / Proposed by La Belle Ouvrage and CN D

Special Edition focuses on the processes of choreographic creation, composition and dramaturgy, and also on the positioning of the artist as a project leader, on his or her inclusion in a professional environment and on his or her responsibilities. The training puts the group of artists at the centre of the work, through exchange, listening and explanation, and analysis of practices.

Reflecting on a creation, inventing a script for the stage, imagining in situ or digital projects, questioning the stakes of creation in relation to the world, formulating one's artistic approach, these are some of the challenges of an author-choreographer. Being an author also means managing one or more projects, finding the frameworks for one's activity, making choices about positioning. Special Edition offers choreographers a collective training space that combines the artistic dimension of the work with questions of trajectory, professional posture and project management, questions often considered separately.
