Magali Vérin
Magali Vérin was born in Cayenne, French Guiana, and trained at the Alvin Ailey School in New York, dancing with prestigious choreographers such as Talley Beatty and David Parsons. In France, she joined the companies of Anne-Marie Porras, Rick Odums and Géraldine Armstrong, and performed in musicals such as The Lion King in London. She was awarded Best Female Performer in Jazz Dance at the International Jazz Dance Festival in Paris. A graduate of the CA, she teaches at the Conservatoire de Boulogne Billancourt, at the Pôle Supérieur for the DNSPD Jazz course, and is involved in the CA course at the CNSMD in Lyon. Alongside her career as a performer with Patricia Greenwood-Karagozian's Compagnie PGK, she continues her creative work with her company Corpo M'Co.
