Invited for the first time in the CN D to celebrate its 20 years in Pantin, the Moulin Rouge cabaret takes over the exceptional space of the Atrium!
With their frenzied music, twirling petticoats and surprising acrobatics, the Moulin Rouge artists have mastered the art of the French Cancan. Present since the cabaret’s opening in 1889, this revolutionary and committed dance, through which women liberate themselves, is a show in its own right, recognized all over the world. With choreography specially created for the occasion, combining balance, flexibility and energy, the Moulin Rouge artists perform in iconic, timeless costumes in the colors of France.
For 135 years, the Moulin Rouge has also been renowned for its dazzling, grandiose costumes. Created in the Ateliers et maisons d’arts du Moulin Rouge, the result of long hours of work, they reflect the excellence of French craftsmanship. In a parade of iconic costumes, Moulin Rouge artists transport spectators through the ages, drawing on the cabaret’s archives to create a unique experience.
