CN D Pantin

With Nancy Tobin et Sophie Corriveau

A dancer since the 1970s, the Montreal choreographer Benoît Lachambre founded his company Par B.L.eux in 1996, with which he has put on
a number of collaborative projects involving,
in particular, Boris Charmatz, Sasha Waltz, Marie Chouinard, Louise Lecavalier, Fabrice Ramalingom, Meg Stuart or the composer Hahn Rowe. Recognised internationally for his exper- imental research into movement and the authenticity of gestures, he has won several prestigious prizes in Canada.

Fluid Grounds

This workshop takes its inspiration from the piece of the same name, but also Benoît Lachambre’s educational method, based on the development of the kinaesthetic, spatial and inter-relational senses. The production of ambulatory spaces, with the assistance of the technique of placing adhesive tape on the floor and walls, will raise questions about the notions of presence, connections, space and the idea of delineations weaving together memories and choreographic catalysts.
