Annie Suquet will talk about her new publication, Modernités critiques : une histoire culturelle de la danse (1945-1980). Built around three resolutely transnational and transcultural thematic axes, her account embraces the whole range of dance phenomena: from artistic paths to creative processes, via works and/or spectacular events, structures and venues, with particular attention paid to dance pedagogies and the ideals of the body and movement transmitted through them.
