As part of La Fabrique Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, conceived with the Festival d’Automne in Paris, Re:Rosas! was reactivated at the CN D on 6th October 2018. The origin of this performance which is open to all is the famous piece Rosas danst Rosas, created by the Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker in 1983.
To prepare this collaborative performance, two workshops led by Johanne Saunier (a dancer in the Compagnie Rosas from 1986 to 1998) were offered to the participants. It was also possible to prepare Re:Rosas! at home thanks to a tutorial. In all, 155 participants reactivated Re:Rosas! on the forecourt of the CN D and all along the Ourcq canal, between the CN D and the Théâtre du Fil de l’Eau where the piece Rosas Danst Rosas was then performed.
