Changing perceptions of dance

The CN D is hosting the project entitiled "Changing Perspectives on Dance", led by the Association Jeunes Amis de la Danse de Saint-Benoît with the support of the French Ministry of Culture. Under the patronage of Hugo Marchand, Étoile dancer at the Paris Opera Ballet, the project aims to deconstruct gender stereotypes in the field of amateur dance through a series of initiatives: a competition open to young male dancers aged 12 to 25 (amateurs, self-taught dancers, school or conservatory students), as well as regional meetings to create opportunities for exchange between young dancers, coaches, choreographers, and partner institutions.
