CN D Pantin
At CN D, Soa de Muse - accompanied on stage by Bia Kaysel - explores the premise of the third part of Diaspora, a project that fuses Afro-futurism, the celebration of black excellence and the cabaret form to build new emancipatory mythologies, freed from the oppressive stereotypes that have hindered racialized peoples.
Soa de Muse
Soa de Muse is a multi-disciplinary artist who has made a name for herself in the world of drag, reaching the final of the first season of Drag Race France. Her world is a cross between cabaret, drag culture and the ballroom scene. She is the driving force behind the cabaret La Bouche, where she performs subversive shows alongside other essential creatures of the Parisian queer and alternative scene. She takes part in the Gay Guerilla project, under the artistic direction of Gerard&Kelly, which honors the legacy of queer African-American composer Julius Eastman at the Centre Pompidou.
