Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Wayne Barbaste began his career in the Caribbean and then in the United States, where he became one of the first dancers with the Alvin Ailey Repertory in New York. In this workshop, Wayne Barbaste invites participants to delve into his world with the "Jazz New Concept", exploring the musicality of the body in movement and the relationship between music and dance in jazz.
