Coming from La Roche-sur-Yon, Nice, La Réole, Aubenas, Paris, Villemomble, Rennes, Perpignan and Porspoder, all these participants will present the work they did over a season on an extract from a dance piece or dances they have chosen and worked on with a professional (choreographer, performer, notator). While familiarizing themselves with an imaginary world, a style of writing and ways of dancing, they discovered a part of the history of dance and culture, and, through different approaches (readings, performances, films, exhibitions, artistic practices), the contexts of creation and presentation of En allant de l'ouest à l'est/At a Cloud Gathering (Susan Buirge, 1976 and 2006); Ornements (Bruno Benne, 2016); Là où l'herbe est plus verte and L'Oiseau qui n'existe pas (Jean Masse and Karin Waehner, 2017 and 1963); Songlines (Joanne Leighton, 2018); Jazz vernaculaire & Jazz continuum (Natasha Powell); Folie (Claude Brumachon, 1989); Combat de Carnaval et Carême/Batailles (Olivia Grandville, 2016); Palermo Palermo (Pina Bausch, 1989) and May B (Maguy Marin, 1981).
