Dance and queerness: from cabaret to clubbing

Organized by the Atelier des doctorants en danse, this symposium is devoted to the relationship between dance and queerness, and, more specifically, to the way in which contemporary choreographic scenes draw inspiration from non-institutional scenes to implement a queer aesthetic. What type of aesthetics and political transfers are involved in the transition from one scene to another?
