Susan Alexander

Susan Alexander worked for several years as a dancer and choreographer in California, Ohio and NYC. She has taught in the Merce Cunningham Dance School in NYC until 1984, and then she taught contemporary dance in the Paris CNSMD and the Paris Opera. She was assistant director and head of choreographic studies within the Paris Opera choreographic research group, and she was a guest instructor for many dance companies and festivals in Europe and in many American universities. She has been teaching in Santa Barbara, California, since 2008.
