Javier Torres
Javier Torres trained as a dancer and instructor in Mexico from 1978 to 1988. He was a dancer, choreographer and ballet master in the Finland National Ballet between 1991 and 2008. He has been invited to teach in various ballet companies since 2001. His research on dance and medicine started in 2001; he has created over 30 pieces, among which are 3 major ballets. Javier Torres has been the artistic director of the Finland National Ballet since august 2022.
