Profesionnal workshop

This workshop aims at creating a score together from borrowed material. A game of construction and structure, where minimally modified repetition makes playing the driving force for curiosity, enthusiasm and the joy of dancing.

Ayelen Parolin is a choreographer and dancer living and working in Brussels. She was born in Argentina but moved to Europe in 2000 and started her career as a dancer. In 2003, she started experimenting with choreography; ever since her autobiographical solo 25.06.76 (2003), up until the trio SIMPLE (2021), she created some twenty pieces. Unpredictable and hard to label, her style navigates between several worlds and styles, with constant attention to the exploration of different parts of the self and what connects us to others. She’s been associated choreographer with the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles since 2022.
