Remembering gestures and sequences instead of memorizing them. Letting the movement emerge naturally rather than trying to reproduce it through repetition. Exploring the body as an archive and memory as a score. This is the method developed by Olga de Soto, which relies on a deep understanding of kinesthetic memory.
Olga de Soto is a choreographer and dance scholar. Her work focuses on memory, imprint and transmission, and combines the languages of choreography and documentary research, with performance, visual arts, and plays with the porosity between all these disciplines.
