Flexible Bars– the Wilfride Piollet Technique – is aimed at making artists responsible for their bodies and autonomous in their training. Based on the principle of the association between a poetic image and the body’s functional reality, this practice was born from the artistic encounters run by Wilfride Piollet and Jean Guizerix, star dancers at the Opéra de Paris, choreographers and instructors. At the CN D, they provide an initiation to this technique via their archive collection.
