Kia Naddermier has over 20 years experience of Ashtanga Yoga and is the main teacher and director of Mysore Yoga Paris. She teaches Ashtanga, Pranayama and adjustment techniques. She mentors teachers, runs long-term apprentice programmes and gives workshops, trainings and retreats internationally. Kia Naddermier is a devoted, senior student of Shri O.P. Tiwariji and is certified to teach Pranayama in the Kavalyadham-lineage. She teaches with careful adherence to the authentic teachings of Ashtanga Yoga and Pranayama whilst encouraging each individual to explore the beauty of the practice for themselves.
The practice and philosophy of Ashtanga yoga & Pranayam
In this workshop dedicated to Ashtanga Yoga and Pranayama, Kia Naddermier will share her experiences and insights for developing a practice for our entire being – body, breath and mind. Through classical Pranayama practices (yogic breathing and purification techniques) and an explorative journey of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga system, the participants will approach these dynamic practices with intelligence and awareness of both physical and energetic alignment principles.
