After his lecture-performance "Dying on Stage" (Bel Lab), Christodoulos Panayiotou returns to CN D in the context of ..... for "Je la chante mais je ne peux pas l'écouter". Examining states of presence and transparency on stage "Je la chante mais je ne peux pas l'écouter"" will be focusing on recurrent situations where stars watch other stars performing and stars watch at themselves being watch. The lecture will be based on a series of youtube-videos.

Christodoulos Panayiotou, a Cypriot artist born in 1978, is interested in hidden narratives. The man described by journalist Florian Gaité as an archaeologist and visual artist, and whose work spans the ‘theatrical arts and visual anthropology’, has presented his work at the 56th Venice Biennale, at the Casa Luis Barragán in Mexico, at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, at the Kunsthalle in Zürich, at Le Casino in Luxembourg, at the museums of contemporary art in Saint Louis and Leipzig, at the Centre d’Art Contemporain de Brétigny, at the Point Center of Contemporary Art in Nicosia; and also in group exhibitions at the Biennale de Lyon, the Kassel Documenta, the Berlin Biennale, the Centre Pompidou, the Museion in Bolzano, at the Migros Museum in Zürich, in San Francisco, Barcelona, Rotterdam, Stockholm, Beirut and Miami.
