These itinerant international symposiums, which will start in Montbéliard and Lyon, then move to Barcelona and Seville, propose to reflect on current research dynamics in the field of flamenco, in order to elaborate new perspectives on this art, through the prism of critical theories developed from other fields of the human and social sciences: intercultural, postcolonial, ethnoscenological perspectives, gender theories, Fat Studies. They invite us to cross the perspectives and practices of artists, researchers and artist-researchers, so that through hybrid encounters, possibilities emerge for inventing other grammars and common references for translating the flamenco aesthetic experience and reading the contemporary flamenco scene, whether in theaters, cultural and social venues, on the street, in Seville's tourist tablaos, or on the digital web.
