Aesthetic approaches, historical research, theoretical reflection, teaching methods, iconographic sources, artists’ writings: the publications of the Centre National de la Danse consist of six main series shedding light on various aspects of the dance world, as well as important figures, ideas and practices. Since 1999, the Centre national de la danse has published or co-published more than sixty books in the fields of artistic creation and heritage, academic research and education, coverage of key works and movements, and transmission of practical knowledge. Some of these books are available both in paper and digital form.
