This quarterly digital magazine is designed to highlight current events and the major cross-disciplinary issues affecting dance and its artists.
The ten issues already published, all of which can be consulted online, combine formats - videos, podcasts, portfolios, articles - and angles - choreographic writing, dance venues, archives, dynamics specific to the sector, etc. - and bring together contributors from diverse backgrounds. 2026 promises new discoveries of texts, images and voices on dance.
As a prelude to the future digital portal designed by CN D, which will see the institution offer a range of new services and content to its users, the magazine features articles, videos, podcasts and portfolios that explore artists' careers, the life of venues, as well as research and issues in the sector.
CN D magazine is an online and bilingual (French and English) magazine published three times a year (February, June and October), aiming at highlighting current choreographic creations and cross-cutting topics relevant to dance and artists.
Lauched in 2022, CN D magazine is financed in full by Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels. Their extraordinary support enabled the creation of a new dance-focused space for expression and reflexion, which is now developping in France and abroad.
CN D magazine intends to be a reference within the world of dance, providing high quality, fact-checked and diversified information, through high editorial standards and journalistic rigor.
It is also a space where journalists, critics, academics and researchers can express themselves. And in being aware of the increased fragility of the cultural media and research sector, CN D magazine provides, with its own means, support to professionals of the field. The magazine therefore hopes to ensure a continuity of expertise, knowledge and reflexion about dance.
