Conceived with a partner, Caravan Kids, or Caravan Teens, injects a dynamic of cultural and artistic education associated with dance over a territory. Caravan is made up of a training course, outreach tools and a special event day in the educational establishment, with guidance from the CN D both before and after the project.
Caravan travels to different regions to encourage dance among students and professionals in the EAC. Through the transmission of mediation tools and immersion days in elementary or secondary schools, the CN D shares its resources for the discovery of dance in all its forms: a poetic, sensitive, artistic and reflective experience. Through different dance stories, Caravan Kids or Teens brings into play the relationship with the other as a process of appropriation of knowledge: how do I learn from the other? How does the discovery of otherness bring us into the dance and into a reflection on ourselves and the world?
In partnership with :
- A cultural structure (association, cultural center...) which is a driving force in the accompaniment of the project and the diffusion of EAC tools and resources on a territorial scale;
- Two elementary or secondary schools wishing to set up EAC projects in dance or simply wanting to appropriate choreographic tools to enrich the artistic, cultural and academic knowledge of their students.
A Caravan takes place in 3 stages:
- A day of training in the Caravan Kids or Caravan Teens tools and more broadly in dance mediation tools, for the educational team and the professionals of artistic and cultural education of the territory involved;
- A day of immersion in two elementary or secondary schools, during the classic teaching hours;
- The follow-up of the relationship with the educational team and the cultural partner to share the way in which the teachers and professionals of the artistic and cultural education took hold of the project and the choreographic tools transmitted.
