In September 2016, a group of forty-five young dancers from twenty-two different countries started a three-year course at P.A.R.T.S. Together, they form Generation XII. For the Kunstenfestivaldesarts, the international art festival of Brussels, they each created a (very) short solo – as a kind of identity card, ranging from one to three minutes. These dances are done in silence, without any props or costumes – forming a raw material coming from forty-five young artists. For La Fabrique, they have revived this material, reworking it and impregnating it with new experiences and ideas. The solos will be performed simultaneously in the different spaces of the Atrium, with the spectators moving around with them.

P.A.R.T.S. is an international dance school based in Brussels, founded by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker.
P.A.R.T.S. offers two distinct courses. Training (three years) is a cycle aimed at dancers and choreographers during which they discover the characteristic approach of P.A.R.T.S.: a great importance allotted to bodily awareness, theatrical and musical training, and the development of improvisation and creation skills, as well as theoretical reflections. The Research Studios programme (one year) is addressed at choreographers and dramaturgs who want to deepen and broaden their artistic activities through an artistic research.
