Paula Pi discovered physical theatre and butō, then dance. These entry points for the performative body have become affirmed in her relationship with the stage and choreographic creation. She proposes working with other bodies on what comes over from this journey, these tools and working principles, while questioning and reinventing them. A Brazilian choreographic artist, Paula Pi took an Exerce master’s in Montpellier. As a performer for Clarissa Sachelli, Eszter Salamon, Latifa Laâbissi and Nadia Lauro, among others, she has been creating her own pieces since 2010. At the CN D, she presented Ecce (H)omo in 2017 and Alexandre in 2018.
