Foofwa d’Imobilité, who danced in 13 works by Merce Cunningham, has been creating his own work since 2000. His works often run counter to contemporary minimalism and focus on a practice of ‘being present and free’ that enable works to be open to the unpredictable, the spontaneous and the authentic. He shares his ideas for his forthcoming creation.
